The course is led by Clive Engwell, a recently retired teacher with a long background in design and lives in England. Clive has been drawing and painting things most of his life and now studies at Warwickshire College of Art. He is a past chair of Leamington Spa Studio Artists, a member of the Association of Midland Artists and a trustee of both the Leamington Society and Althorpe Studios and Gallery. He paints in a variety of styles, mostly in acrylics but with a passion for fine detail work reflecting his technology background.

Now enjoying his retirement Clive was formerly an enthusiastic design and technology teacher with special skills in delivering resistant materials, product design with computer aided design and technical drawing.
